Dr. keiko miwa ross student farm at penn state campus supported agriculture program

Thank you for your interest in the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm Salad Club! Find information about our April 2024 season below.

Salad Club is a three week membership open to Penn State undergrads, graduate and professional students. We offer three weeks of fresh vegetables grown by students on the Student Farm! In addition, members will get to choose either a salad spinner or a chef's knife + cutting board, included in your membership!

Pickup Information: The three weekly pickups will be on Thursdays, between 4:15-5:30pm. Pickup dates are: April 4, April 11 and April 18. Pickup will be at the Cellar Market on Eisenhower Road (across from Eisenhower Auditorium). We'll have your veggies packed for you, so all you have to do is swing by to pick them up each week!

What's included in a membership: Each week, you will receive four vegetables: a lettuce base, an additional green, a topping vegetable, and an herb. This is a suitable size for a single student to make 2-3 salads. In addition, each member will have the option to receive either a salad spinner, or a knife + cutting board. Members will also receive weekly emails with video content and recipes to help inspire and educate about making delicious salads.

A membership would normally cost over $60, but in our first season, we are excited to be able to offer all of this to students for just $41!

Notes:

Thanks to generous grant funding, we also have memberships available to students facing financial challenges. Please email us at studentfarm@psu.edu and we can offer memberships for just $5 if you cannot afford the regular price.

If you need to pay by cash or check instead of credit card, please contact us at studentfarm.psu.edu. Feel free to email us with any other questions as well!

Click Salad Club Membership below to add to your cart and purchase your membership! You will receive an automated purchase confirmation by email immediately after your purchase, and a club welcome email from our team on April 1.
